MiMEP Standardisation and Contract Document Development

Project Overview:
Commissioned by the Government’s Architectural Services Department (ArchSD), this study aims to advance MiMEP adoption in Hong Kong public works by developing a standardisation framework across system, product and assembly levels, with a practical focus on space and weight management throughout the asset lifecycle. In parallel, the study is preparing high-level standard contract documentation and provisions to facilitate wider and consistent implementation.
Key Achievement:
To set a standardisation framework for MiMEP at system, product and assembly levels.
To establish practical space and weight controls framework to support safe, buildable and maintainable project delivery.
To prepare standard contract documentation / provisions to enable consistent adoption.
