Project Overview:

Commissioned by the Government’s Architectural Services Department (ArchSD), this study aims to advance MiMEP adoption in Hong Kong public works by developing a standardisation framework across system, product and assembly levels, with a practical focus on space and weight management throughout the asset lifecycle. In parallel, the study is preparing high-level standard contract documentation and provisions to facilitate wider and consistent implementation.

Key Achievement:

• To set a standardisation framework for MiMEP at system, product and assembly levels.

• To establish practical space and weight controls framework to support safe, buildable and maintainable project delivery.

• To prepare standard contract documentation / provisions to enable consistent adoption.
