From Vision to Impact: BTRi First Strategic Report Now Published

Building Technology Research Institute (BTRi) is pleased to announce the publication of our first Strategic Report (2025), marking the completion of a foundational year of achievement and collaboration. Established in August 2024, BTRi was founded with a clear vision: to serve the construction industry by accelerating innovation adoption, advancing standards, and building trust through accreditation. From Vision to Impact: Connecting Ideas, Building Solutions — this report captures how that vision has delivered measurable, tangible results in BTRi's first year of operation.

A year of progress, together:

 • Commenced 30+ innovation projects to achieve cost-effectiveness, safety and sustainability— each tailored for real-world applications with measurable impact

 • Initiated the review of 10+ local standards and commenced 5 new standards for advanced technologies and materials

 • Launched and gained government recognition for Modular Integrated Construction Manufacturer Accreditation Scheme (MiC-MAS) and Construction Product Accreditation Scheme (CPAS)

 • Built a network of 30+ collaboration members in spearheading construction innovation for the industry
