BTRi Participates in ICE HKA x CIHT Hong Kong Joint Conference & Exhibition 2026

On 30 April 2026, the Building Technology Research Institute (BTRi) was honoured to support the ICE HKA x CIHT Hong Kong Joint Conference & Exhibition 2026, themed “Smart Cities: Infrastructure & Transportation Innovations”, exploring the transformative potential of digitalisation, AI, unmanned aerial vehicles, and autonomous driving systems.

At the conference, the BTRi engaged with industry partners and fellow innovators to explore the technologies and solutions driving the next generation of urban infrastructure. In the business pitch session, BTRi highlighted its role as a bridge between research and real-world application, accelerating innovation from pilot stage to industry-wide adoption through its core functions and emphasised delivering tangible impact through technology adoption, standards development, and quality assurance brought by accreditation, ultimately enabling a more productive, cost-effective, and smarter construction industry. We are especially delighted that BTRi was recognised with the “Best Pitch Award”, reflecting BTRi’s dedication to delivering innovative ideas and forward-thinking vision within our team.
