BTRi at the Global AI and Smart Construction Conference and Exhibition 2026
From 24 to 25 June 2026, the Building Technology Research Institute (BTRi) exhibited at the CIC Global AI and Smart Construction Conference and Exhibition (GASCCE) 2026. The two-day programme spotlighted the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, low-altitude economy technologies, and a wide spectrum of smart construction innovations.
During the exhibition, BTRi showcased its latest achievements in smart construction, including the performance analysis and development of a technical specification for the remote control tower crane system (RCTCS), the adoption of blockchain-enabled digital supervision systems for Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) projects, and an AI strategic study that outlines a roadmap to facilitate the application of AI solutions in the construction industry.
BTRi was also invited to deliver a speech, during which it presented its latest work in smart construction and elaborated on how BTRi advances the industry through its three strategic areas — Driving Applied R&D, Standards Advancement, and Accreditation, Certification, and Testing.
BTRi remains dedicated to driving the intelligent transformation of the construction industry. Through active industry collaboration, BTRi continues to contribute to the long-term development of innovative technologies and the shaping of the built environment of the future.
