Publication of the First Local Technical Guideline and Particular Specification for the Structural Use of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC)

Project Overview:
Building Technology Research Institute (BTRi) in collaboration with the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) together developed Hong Kong's first-ever Technical Guidelines and Particular Specification for structural use of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC). Officially released on 12 December 2025, this milestone document establishes a standardized framework by systematically integrating practical experiences and technical standards from Mainland China and the international arena, precisely catering to the structural and environmental needs of Hong Kong.
Key Achievement:
Established a standardized framework to confidently promote and facilitate the broader adoption of UHPC across local construction and infrastructure projects.
