BTRi Cocktail Reception Successfully Held: Fostering Cross-Sector Collaboration to Drive High-Performing Industry Development

On 8 January 2026, the Building Technology Research Institute (BTRi) hosted its first cocktail reception to express gratitude for the continuous support from its key stakeholders. The event not only showcased BTRi’s achievements since its establishment but also served as a pivotal platform to further foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among government, academia, and industry.

The event was honoured to have Ir LAU Chun-kit, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), as the Guest of Honour. Joined by BTRi’s Chairperson, Ir HON Chi-keung; Vice Chairperson, Dr CHAN Ka-kui; and other Board Members, they welcomed distinguished guests from government departments, universities, and BTRi’s Patron Members. The event provided an opportunity to look ahead to the new year and reaffirm a shared commitment to jointly advance high-performing development in the construction industry.
