Advisory Services for Exploring Innovative Construction Technologies for Pond Filling Works in San Tin Technopole

Project Overview:

The proposed site formation of San Tin Technopole (STT) would need to tackle with soft deposits at existing fishponds of about 90 ha. To speed up the pond filling works in a cost-effective manner, the CEDD has commissioned The Building Technology Research Institute (BTRi) to explore innovative construction technologies that satisfy the project's strict requirements for design, environments and timeline. The innovative construction applications, for monitoring the site formation works during construction stage, would also be incorporated into the STT’s digital twin platform.
